25077 SENS1: Mastering Inductive Position Sensors (August 2025)
In this class you will get hands-on experience with a linear position sensor, learn to describe its sensing technology, create a calibration curve, implement a custom sensor design, and use the Microchip linear position library to accelerate your linear position measurement projects.
This is a recording of the course 25077 SENS1 - Mastering Inductive Position Sensors from the 2025 MASTERs Conference.
Get a hands-on experience with a linear sensor that you can calibrate with in-person guidance and support. You will describe the sensing technology for position measurement, create a calibration curve for a selected linear position sensor, and implement a custom linear sensor design. This class will illustrate how to use the Microchip linear position library to jump-start your linear position measurement design and implementation.
Prerequisites:
Basic understanding of sensor signal acquisition and processing
