The course will introduce you to various development tools like the MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) and MPLAB® Xpress IDE to easily build your project. The step-by-step learning exercises will ensure that you can learn by doing and discover the process of taking your design ideas to subsequent phases of implementation and prototyping.

The examples will focus on general purpose input and output pins, serial communication and timers on the MCU. At the end of the course, you will be able to create your own electronic owl that can blink, chat and move, all from the convenience of your desk without needing to buy electronic components or tools.
